There is on-street, metered parking close to the museum. There’s also a parking garage located within a block or two of the museum.

Admission can be purchased at the front entrance. The museum has two floors of activities and exhibits. The first floor of the museum is called the Explore Floor.
ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum Exhibits
The Explore Floor consists of a water table, amazing airwaves tube maze, water works exhibit, an open art studio, and the portal to the past cave.

The water table exhibit includes aprons for your child to wear to keep them dry while playing with the paddle wheel boats, fountains, and buttons in the water.

The Portal to the Past cave is an area to explore ancient times. Inside the cave, children can use a lantern to learn about the artifacts and look at cave drawings. There’s even a pretend camp fire and a small slide is the exit of the cave.

On the second floor, there’s many more hands-on exhibits. It’s called the Imagination Floor. One side of this floor includes pretend play opportunities like a grocery store, pizza shop, bank, and doctor’s office.

There’s also a train area, where children can pretend to be conductors. A soft play area is available for younger children, and there’s also a big piano and stage area with Big Blue Blocks.

ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum Expansion
ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum is currently undergoing a large remodel and expansion project. When complete, there will be a new two-story addition to their building, as well as a new outdoor programming area.
This expansion doubles the size of the museum, adds parking, and provides many more STEAM-related exhibits and programming. Learn more about this exciting project here.
