Deptford Memorial Park (formerly Fasola Recreation Park) is located at 12 Sycamore Lane, Deptford, New Jersey. Note that the park’s name recently changed, so still may be referred to as Fasola Park in maps. Deptford is located in southern New Jersey, a bit south from Philadelphia.
The park features a splash pad in the summer, a large playground, bike course, and lake.
The large, main playground is close to big parking lots along Sycamore Lane. This is also the area with the splash pad. Note that the splash pad is open from 10 AM to 8 PM daily, Memorial Day through Labor Day according to the sign near the splash pad.
While this area with the splash pad is visible from the parking lot, there are more attractions at the park. A short walk will reveal a newer playground called Matty’s Corner.
This is a memorial playground that opened in 2024. The playground features a larger accessible structure with rocking boat and slides. There is a small playhouse, picnic tables, and a dish swing.
This park also features a lake, workout stations, and a bike challenge course.
The bike course features hoops, a circular tunnel, and some other types of short, wooden platforms.
