Cupboard Maker Books is located at 157 North Enola Road, which is just south of I-81 along the Susquehanna River. The bookstore is north of Camp Hill, and a less than ten minute drive from Adams-Ricci Park.

There are two doors as an entrance to the bookstore. This helps prevent cats from wondering outside. Be sure to close the first door before opening the second door. There are many signs to alert customers of the procedure for entering the store.

From the entrance, it’s clear that Odin, the white cat, is one of their many cats that call the bookstore home. He proudly walks around the store and enjoys all of the cat-friendly features of the store, including catwalks above the bookshelves.

The bookshelves include notes from the many visitors over the years. Many people note their love of books and of course, they write about their favorite bookstore cats.

Be sure to wonder around the entire store and view their murals that adorn the walls. There are also many built-in catwalks and cat beds throughout the store.

Take note that just like humans, cats need some privacy and alone time. Sometimes, there may be more or less cats wondering the store. We visited close to closing time, but still saw quite a few cats.
