Kinder Farm Park is located at 1001 Kinder Farm Park Road, Millersville, Maryland. It’s a 288-acre park featuring a large playground, animals, biking, fishing, and picnic pavilions. There is a fee to enter this park. It’s collected at a booth at the entrance of the driveway leading into the park or online.
The daily fee is $6 (subject to change). Before visiting check Kinder Farm Park’s website before visiting for current daily fees. Annual passes are also available.
After entering the park, there’s a Visitor’s Center building. It has different hours than the park, so check Kinder Farm Park’s website to find the current hours for the Visitor’s Center.
Kinder Farm Park Playground
The Kinder Farm Park Playground is unique because it has multiple levels of playground equipment. In between the levels is a slide to get to the next level.
The top level has a shade canopy and includes some small playground equipment for younger children. There’s also a tractor climber and slide.
The next level includes a big climber, which is best for older children, as they can get quite high on the structure.
There’s many options for rope climbers at this playground. The bottom level of the playground features a set of swings. There are baby swings and regular swings.
Picnic tables are available on the perimeter of the playground. They are shaded by some mature trees planted around the playground.
Kinder Farm Park Animals
There are many different animals on the Kinder Farm Park campus. Kinder Farm Park 4-H Livestock Club cares for the animals on the farm. Cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, and goats are some of the animals to view at the park.
The park also has a 2.8 mile paved trail and miles of nature trails.
