Rose Tree County Park is located at 1671 North Providence Road in Media, Pennsylvania. The park is has 118 acres of land in Upper Providence Township, which is very close to Media. Media is located west of Philadelphia. The park is also close to Route 1 and south of Route 30.
There is a large parking lot along N. Providence Road and another parking lot farther into the park along a driveway. This back parking lot also has a sidewalk directly to the playground.
There is a new playground at this park, which opened in late 2023. The playground is located a long paved path from the main parking lot. The playground is fully fenced. Near the entrance to the playground, there is a small shade pavilion with picnic tables.
The playground features ramps that lead to a multi-story play structure. The structure has a long twist tube slide and several smaller slides.
There is a inground merry-go-round and a set of swings. The swings have a variety of options, including a child and parent swing. There are a lot of climbing opportunities inside the structure and outside the structure, too.
There’s also a small obstacle course for younger children and a wooden seesaw. Restrooms are located near the back parking lot in the stone building.
Rose Tree County Park Amphitheater
Delaware County hosts a summer festival concert series annually in the park’s amphitheater. Find the festival schedule here.
In the winter months, the park lights up with the Festival of Lights display. Dozens of trees are illuminated to help everyone get into the holiday spirit.
