The Funplex has three locations, two in New Jersey and one in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This post will focus on their Mount Laurel location. Mount Laurel is located close to the Pennsylvania border in New Jersey. It’s also close to Philadelphia.
The Funplex is an indoor / outdoor (seasonal) family entertainment center with a mixture of rides, arcade games, mini-golf, and other attractions.
The Funplex single day admission wristbands include all day admission to the park. Indoors, the park includes a bowling alley, an indoor go-kart track, foam frenzy play space, rides, and much more. In the summer months through Labor Day, admission includes access to an outdoor water park. There are also seasonal outdoor amusement rides. When the weather isn’t favorable, there are many indoor attractions to enjoy at The Funplex. There’s a large arcade, bowling, an indoor go-kart track, and indoor amusement rides.
Of course, there are height requirements for most of the attractions. The current height requirements are available on their website, as well as a self check station inside the door.
While the arcade and bowling alley are the first attractions you see when entering through the main door at the side of the building, there is a large Boardwalk area farther into the building. This area includes the foam ball play space, indoor go kart track, rides, and the Boardwalk Café.
The Boardwalk Café features milkshakes, fries, funnel cakes, soft pretzels, and more. This is one of several eateries at The Funplex Mount Laurel.
There’s also an outdoor food stand open in the summer months called Sharkey’s Café. They feature chicken tenders meals and wings at this outdoor cafe. The main eatery, Pitshop Cafe, is indoors and has an expansive menu including chicken sandwiches, pizza, quesadillas, nachos, fries, and sweet treats.
Outdoor Splashplex Waterpark
Open seasonally, typically from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Splashplex Waterpark is located at The Funplex in Mount Laurel. There are daily wristbands that include access to the outdoor waterpark.
The outdoor water rides include several slides, a lazy river, pool, and water play structure.
This outdoor area also includes dry rides, with a drop tower, kite flyer, swinging gondola, happy swing, and more.
One of our favorite rides is the bumper boats, which operate in a large pool of water at the front of the complex. Keep in mind the boats have water squirters, so you will get a bit wet!
