Gallery Grow is located at 320 North Queen Street in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The gallery was formerly located on North Prince Street, but relocated to a bigger space in April 2025.
Upon walking into the building, there is a curated selection of houseplants, pottery and other types of decor for the home. At the back of the space, there are a few tables for events. The loft terrarium bar, where you make-your-own terrarium, is located upstairs.
They accept walk-ins when they are open. If you would like to plan ahead, especially for a group, you can reserve a table in advance. Their website accepts bookings for 6 to 16 people.
Gallery Grow suggests this activity is best suited for older children, typically ages 8 and above. Adult supervision is also needed, as they are working with delicate plants and small decorative items.
Make-Your-Own Terrarium Projects
Terrarium projects start around $20 (prices subject to change). The size of the terrarium and the number of plants included increase as the prices increase. The project takes about an hour, or more, depending on the level of detail and creativity employed when creating your terrarium.
There are numerous decorative items to add to your terrarium, which are included in the price. Larger items can be purchased separately to add to your terrarium, such as large figurines.
Multiple colors of sand are also available to make your terrarium match the room where it will be displayed. Layers of sand can be used, along with other colorful pebbles and decorative items.
When finished with your project, Gallery Grow staff will box and bag it for traveling home.
Parking
On street parking is available along North Queen Street. If exploring the downtown area, North Prince Street garage is located close to Central Market, and a short walk to Gallery Grow. If only visiting Gallery Grow, the North Queen Street parking garage would be closer. It is located at 424 North Queen Street.
