Hayloft Ice Cream is located at 95 South Groffdale Road in Leola, Pennsylvania. Leola is located right outside of Lancaster, a city filled with kid-friendly attractions. The Hayloft is known for their ice cream and soft pretzels, but they also have many other hot food options available.
Inside the Hayloft building, you can order food or ice cream at the counter. In addition to the ice cream options, there are also hot foods like pretzel logs, pot pie, soup, sandwiches, and French fries.
Seat yourself in campground style seating available in the dining area. There are also some items for sale that you can browse while waiting for your food or ice cream.
In the warmer months, the Hayloft features an outdoor area with pond, playground, and picnic pavilions. The pond has fish and ducks, and there is fish food available for purchase in coin operated machines.
A small bridge at the pond takes you from the Hayloft building to the playground and pavilion area. There are many picnic table options, including some in the shade of the pavilion.
The playground area has a fence, as it is close to the road and parking lot. There are picnic tables and benches in this area to enjoy your food while the kids play.
There are two large playsets. One is a typical playground with slides and swings, the other is shaped like a pirate ship.
