Ott’s Exotic Plants is a nursery and gardening center which includes a “mountain” of mums in the fall and a beautiful conservatory of exotic plants on display throughout the year.
Schwenksville is just north of King of Prussia and east of Pottstown. Ott’s is located at 861 Gravel Pike in Schwenksville. There is parking right in front of the building, but on busy days, there is additional parking behind the mum mountain.
Ott’s Exotic Plants mum “mountain” has two entrances to steps on either side of the mountain. The steps can be climbed, and there is a narrow walkway with a railing at the top for a beautiful view of the mums.
Mum mountain also has a tunnel underneath, leading to the other side and additional parking. The mums typically peak around mid-October each year, with giant splashes of color leading around the entire “mountain”.
Inside, Ott’s Exotic Plants has a conservatory with waterfall and pond, surrounded by their lush green plants. There are many options to purchase some of their exotic plants. In the fall, there are many types of pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, and more for your fall decorating needs.
