Lancaster, Pennsylvania is filled with fun and family-friendly destinations. On top of the fabulous attractions in the area, there’s also some wonderful accommodations. Eden Resort and Suites (affiliate link) is one choice for lodging in Lancaster.
The resort is conveniently located along Route 30. There’s easy access to Route 222 and I-283, too. It’s centrally located to many attractions in Lancaster, and it’s a quick drive to downtown Lancaster.
Rooms
Eden Resort features regular rooms, suites, and villas. Some rooms have balconies and some rooms have direct pool access (indoor and outdoor pools).
In addition to the traditional hotel rooms, there’s also two room villas. The villas are located by the outdoor pool and are also close to many of the resort’s other amenities, such as a basketball court, fire pit, putting green, and billiards. These amenities are all outdoors.
Pools
There are three pools available at the Eden Resort. One is indoor pool, and two seasonal outdoor pools, open during the summer. The indoor pool is larger than the typical hotel pool and also includes an indoor hot tub.
The hot tub is for adults only. There are rooms which feature a pool view, with first floor pool view rooms having direct access to the indoor pool.
The seasonal outdoor pools are large and have a resort feel and are open during the summer months. There are lots of loungers with plenty of umbrellas to provide shade.
The outdoor fountain pool is a shallow section of the pool that is 3 feet deep. There’s also a roped section that goes to 9 feet deep. Along the one side of the pool is a very shallow area with some fountains.
Pro tip: The loungers along the fences have USB charging plugs! There’s also water and ice available at the ice machine near the entrance. You can order food and drinks from a food truck during certain times in the summer, and there’s also a convenience store within walking distance.
Kidz Play Zone
The outdoor Kidz Play Zone, open in the summer, contains many sprinklers, fountains, and two shallow pools. There’s also many tables and loungers.
Additional Resort Amenities
The fun for kids continues right outside the pool, with the playground. There are several slides, and small rock walls to climb. For younger kids, a simple ramp leads into the small playhouse.
There’s also a half basketball court, shuffle board, billiards, a putting green, and ping pong.
Golf clubs, basketballs, and ping pong paddles are available for use by each specific area.
There’s even grills available for resort guests to use. These grills are close to the pool area and include several picnic tables with umbrellas. They can be reserved at the pool desk.
