York is home to several great parks with playgrounds. The parks have a wide-variety of equipment and things to do. Check out these best playgrounds near York, PA:
Cousler Park
Cousler Park is located at 1060 Church Road in York, Pennsylvania. The park includes walking trails, two playgrounds, and many sports fields.
The main, large playground is called the Inspiring Home playground. There’s a tot lot, as well as a large structure for older children. In the summer, there are mist sprayers.
There’s also a smaller, separate playground with many opportunities for kids to climb.
Springetts Castle Park
Springettsbury Township recently renovated this playground close to the York Galleria Mall along Route 30. The playground is called Springetts Castle Park. There’s now a large slide structure, zip line, and tot playground.
The park includes a walking trail, amphitheater, basketball courts, and many pavilions.
Mill Creek Park
Mill Creek Park in the Dover area, just north of York, includes a large slide structure, swings, and a rope climber. This park is smaller than the others on the list, but still a very fun park.
Daniel’s Den
Daniel’s Den Playground is bit of a drive from York, but worth the extra time in the car. This park is large and includes a pavilion, so it’s a great park to take a picnic lunch.
This park also has mist sprayers in the summer, so a chance of clothes for kiddos who like to get wet might be necessary.
